What are the 3 Chambers?
The three chambers of commerce serve as a crucial intermediary between the regional economic and corporate community, allowing it to have a voice both locally and nationally. Our partnerships with a multitude of public and private organisations underscore our dedication to furnishing practical and pertinent assistance to the local business community.
The chambers offer a forum for businesses to connect and liaise with one another, enabling them to work together and expand their networks. Collaborating with both Rochford District Council and FSB, the three chambers operate in tandem to support businesses and individuals, thereby contributing to the future prosperity of the neighbouring communities.
Whether one is located in the Rayleigh, Hockley, or Rochford districts, joining the local chamber provides access to a larger umbrella organisation encompassing the entirety of the Rochford district. Our offerings range from networking opportunities to business seminars, and we endeavour to keep our members informed about other local business developments through our association with Rochford District Council.
Rayleigh Chamber of Trade
Chairman - Frank Nash
For over three decades now, Frank has been managing both indoor and outdoor markets, namely the Canvey Sunday Market, Dagenham Sunday Market, Pitsea Market, Thamesmead Market, and Barking Market. Since 1994, his company, Charfleets, has owned Rayleigh Lanes and a selection of retail stores situated within the town. Frank's primary objective is to bolster the amount of pedestrian traffic in Rayleigh, as well as augment the retail take-up of the town.

Hockley Chamber of Trade
Chairman - Jeff Stanton
Supported by a strong back-up team, I have represented the Chamber at meetings with the Parish and District Councils, working with the Council to support local events.
I feel that especially now during tough trading conditions on the High Street, businesses should work together to improve their image and attract more customers.
