As well as offering general eye examinations we also specialise in fitting contact lenses, undertake diabetic retinal screening and participate in the glaucoma refinement scheme operated in this area. (See below). We also offer simple, first level dyslexia screening using an intuitive overlay assessment. (See below).

We also endeavour to source products that are high quality but affordable because we realise that individual circumstances vary considerably and we want to be able to give you the best possible product whatever your budget.

Our air-conditioned North Street premises  is modern and comfortable and carries a large selection of designer and other top quality frames and sunglasses.

Our independence allows us to supply contact lenses and spectacles from the supplier that will best meet your needs. We are not constrained by head office buying policies but are free to make a professional judgement about what will be optimal for each person we see.
